Reports are slowly trickling out of Libya, where the government has a tight lid over all outside communication. One hospital official says he's seen over 200 dead, while Human Rights Watch is being conservative with its estimate, saying the death toll in Libya’s protests has topped 104. Col. Muammar Qaddafi’s forces opened fire on a funeral procession for the second day with artillery, snipers, helicopter gunships, and even a missile. Meanwhile, others armed with swords and hammers attacked people in their homes. “Dozens were killed... We are in the midst of a massacre here," said one protester. In addition to the violent crackdown, Libyan authorities have attempted to block communications, cutting off access to Facebook and Al-Jazeera and barring foreign journalists from approaching the scene.
