Much to the delight of former president Bill Clinton, Lil’ Wayne was released from Rikers Island prison in New York City on Thursday. Wayne, 28, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., pleaded guilty last October to gun possession stemming from a July 2007 arrest. He served just eight months of his one-year jail term due to good behavior. The rapper will celebrate his newfound freedom with a massive party Sunday at a Miami strip club, according to MTV, and is rumored to be making a special cameo appearance at fellow rapper Drake’s concert Saturday in Las Vegas.
