New York Fashion Week is barely over, but the London equivalent is already in full swing. Marios Schwab showed a futuristic take on Alpine folklore Monday, showcasing modern dirndls—the corset worn by bar maidens—at his Fall/Winter 2010 show. And though it's the autumn collection, British designer Christopher Kane sent a bundle of springy florals down the runway Monday—but, as The Telegraph's Hilary Alexander pointed out, "There was malice afoot" in Kane's collection. "Weeds lurked within the seemingly innocent flower gardens." And while at New York Fashion Week front-row staples included reality-TV stars like Annalynne McCord or Kelly Bensimon, A-list fashion fans in London have so far included Sienna and Savannah Miller, Janet Jackson (who attended the Todd Lynn show); Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof. The highlight of London Fashion Week, however, has been Naomi Campbell and Vivienne Westwood's Fashion for Relief Haiti event on Sunday night. Similar to the New York event, Campbell ended the night onstage with Kate Moss and Annabelle Neilson in a tribute to Alexander McQueen.
