Irish police said Sunday a man died while on board an Aer Lingus flight bound for Dublin after he reportedly bit a man. The 24-year-old was restrained after he became agitated about halfway through the flight from Lisbon, police said. According to an RTE report, the man became unwell and fell unconscious after he was restrained during the flight. The captain declared a "medical emergency" and diverted the plane to Cork. It's unclear when the man died, but police said he was pronounced dead at the scene when the plane landed. A second man was reportedly taken to the hospital and the 170 passengers and crew on board were being question.
