Health officials in Arizona are currently tracking 1,000 people, including 195 children, who may have been exposed to the measles coming out of Disneyland. The state has confirmed seven cases so far. Three counties near Phoenix—where the Super Bowl will be held on Sunday—have asked un-vaccinated residents who may have been exposed to stay home for 21 days. One of the confirmed cases involves a woman who walked into a pediatric clinic, potentially exposing around 200 people. “This is a critical point in tthis outbreak,” Arizona’s health director, Will Humble, wrote on his blog, warning that any missed cases could case “a long and protracted outbreak.”
