Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder says he has been watching Indiana’s “religious freedom” kerfuffle closely and he’s taken away a valuable lesson: If such a bill came to his desk, he would veto it immediately, with no discussion. “Given all the events that are happening in Indiana, I thought it would be good to clarify my position,” Snyder said. “I would veto [Religious Freedom Restoration Act] legislation in Michigan if it is a standalone piece of legislation."
