Which would you choose: Being able to travel back in time to attend Woodstock or being able to tell what your boss really thinks of you? It looks like Americans are pretty split on it: Marist polled 1,020 adults and found that time travel and mind reading were the top two superhero powers they would prefer. Twenty-eight percent chose time travel, and the same number picked mind reading. Sixteen percent picked the ability to fly, 11 percent chose teleporting and 10 percent want to be invisible. Different generations favored different things: Mind reading topped the lists of Generation Xers and the Greatest Generation, while time travel was favored by Baby Boomers and Millennials were split down the middle. And the war of the sexes accounted for different superhero desires: Time travel was favored by men, while the ability to read minds came out tops for women.
