It would be funny if it weren’t so expensive: A boozehound lost his pal’s $1.35 million Jean Baptiste Corot painting in a drunken stupor. But it’s still sort of funny: One man’s masterpiece became another man’s… trash? Treasure? Nobody knows for sure. Tom Doyle and Kristyn Trudgeon asked their friend, James Haggerty, to deliver the painting to a new prospective buyer. Unfortunately, Haggerty got so trashed en route to delivering it, that he can't remember where he left it in his pub crawls. Trudgeon has brought a lawsuit against him.
