Shannon Gilbert, the prostitute whose disappearance led police to discover eight bodies on a Long Island beach, partied with two men the night before she disappeared. According to the New York Post, she was hired in May 2010 by John Brewer, a businessman with a beach house. He is not considered a suspect. However, the Post says Brewer had a house guest: “a 48-year-old drifter with a penchant for strippers.” Police would not say if they questioned him. The greatest clue to the killer’s identity, however, may be a phone call placed to one of the other victim’s sisters shortly after she disappeared in July, 2009. "Do you know what your sister is doing?" an unidentified caller asked the sister. "She's a whore."
