Let's hope they do a better job locking him up this time. Cody Nathaniel Willcoxson led police on a four-hour, 40-mile chase that involved an interstate shootout, the shutdown of a Missouri college campus where he crashed his car, and a failed attempt at breaking into an army base. Willcoxson fired on police with an AK-47 as he drove away from a military base he had been trying to sneak into. Police eventually punctured his tires and forced him to surrender near the Missouri University of Science and Technology. But Willcoxson apparently has a history of eluding capture. Three years ago he lead a nine-inmate jail break in rural Oklahoma. "He was the poster child for always trying to escape," said Mike Shambaugh, police chief in the Oklahoma town of Jay, "It seemed like he was always getting out."
