Are you a mobile shopping “warrior?” According to a recent survey by IDC Retail Insights, mobile shopping “warriors” (hyper-connected individuals) and mobile shopping “warrior wannabes” (moderately connected individuals) will comprise 28 percent, or $127 billion, of the $447 billion that the National Retail Federation estimates U.S. shoppers will spend during the holiday shopping season. The study also found that mobile phone users were more likely this holiday season to use their devices to search for price and product information, check merchandise availability, seek out product reviews, compare prices at other stores, and purchase goods.
