A Utah mother pleaded guilty Thursday to murdering six of her newborn babies. Megan Huntsman hid the bodies in her garage, which were discovered last year by her estranged husband. A seventh baby was found stillborn. Police said Huntsman acknowledged that she strangled or suffocated the children from 1996 to 2006. Huntsman will be sentenced in April and faces life in prison. Huntsman barely escaped the death penalty: Utah added the murder of a person under age 14 as a capital offense in 2007.
