A new batch of military secrets, fresh from Afghanistan, is on the way. WikiLeaks, the polarizing, whistle-blowing website, will publish the last of its classified documents on the war in Afghanistan in “a couple of weeks,” according to the site’s founder Julian Assange. Speaking at a press conference in Stockholm, he added that his team was about halfway through sifting the final 15,000 files. And it seems that Assange has saved the most sensitive for last. On Friday, the Pentagon intensified its efforts to prevent the files’ publication. "We are concerned that the additional documents that they have may cause even greater risks than the ones they released previously," a Pentagon spokesman said, adding that they were "potentially more damaging." WikiLeaks has already released 76,000 classified documents pertaining to Afghanistan from American records.
