Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, is “certain” to release Nobel Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi from house arrest, in the wake of the country’s controversial election. "The authorities will release her. It is certain," one Myanmar official told the Telegraph. Another official said, "She will be released for sure as planned. We are just waiting for the time to release her." Her house arrest is set to expire on Saturday.
