The NBA took its first step in the process toward kicking Clippers owner Donald Sterling to the curb when the Advisory/Finance Committee unanimously voted to move forward with his removal "as expeditiously as possible." The 10-person team of owners discussed the matter via teleconference and decided to reconvene next week. Sterling was banned for life from the NBA on Tuesday after leaked tapes of him making racist remarks were released. He could be forced to sell the team if the Board of Governors casts a three-quarters vote to remove him.
