We’d plot this one somewhere right in the middle: Bravo has purchased a television show based on New York Magazine’s popular “Approval Matrix,” the back-page feature that places cultural happenings on a grid ranging from “lowbrow” to “highbrow” on one axis and “despicable” to “brilliant” on the other. The show was sold by Michael Hirschorn, the former executive editor of the magazine and a current television producer. It will be called Approval Matrix and will feature "rotating pop culture pundits" discussing the week's "buzzworthy news items."
