As NSA leaker Edward Snowden is hailed as a hero, the New Yorker's Jeffrey Toobin argues he should be doing jail time for sending classified documents to the media. Calling him “a grandiose narcissist,” Toobin notes that Snowden wasn't revealing illegal spying but a court-approved program. This, he says, was irresponsible and reckless. “The question, of course, is whether the government can function when all of its employees (and contractors) can take it upon themselves to sabotage the programs they don’t like,” Toobin writes.
