Watch out, Obama: Newt Gingrich might be your competition in 2012. In an interview with The Washington Post, Gingrich was coy about a presidential bid, but he did say that he was “transitioning” his business interests in order to facilitate a run. The remaining issue, he continued, “is whether or not it is practical, which I increasingly think it is.” If he did run, Gingrich would no doubt boast of the economic boom of the '90s, when he was Speaker of the House—to Bill Clinton’s chagrin, most likely. He’s also got some baggage, though, including his recent comments that President Obama has a “Kenyan, anti-colonial” worldview.
