Two Northwestern University freshman were charged Saturday for allegedly spray-painting anti-Semitic and homophobic messages along with the name of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump inside a campus chapel. Anthony Morales, 19, and Matthew Kafker, 18, face felony counts of institutional vandalism, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office. The pair were also charged with hate crimes and criminal property damage, and have been banned from campus as their cases proceed, a Northwestern spokesman said. The vandlism took place Thursday night inside the non-denominational Alice Millar Chapel, where the two allegedly spray-pained penises, a swastika and the word "Trump as well as crossing out a photo of a Muslim student. Both students were released after posting bail, which was set at $50,000.
