Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are putting their differences aside for the good of America, or at least country music. The two presidential candidates will take the stage at tonight’s CMT Music Awards, the network's “highest-rated night of the year,” according to CMT President Brian Philips. “They’re each great sports. They’re in on the joke, and they each went out of their way to deliver great moments for CMT.” Obama is no stranger to the country-music ceremony, having made a cameo along with then-competitors Hillary Clinton and John McCain back in 2008.
