President Obama participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday to commemorate Memorial Day. “For us, the living, those of us who still have a voice, it is our responsibility and our obligation to fill our silence with our love and gratitude and not with just our words but with our actions,” Obama said, highlighting the importance of providing veterans returning from war with jobs and health care.
