President Obama is taking a page from the Joe Biden debate handbook. Obama campaign staffers are saying that the president will take a more aggressive tone in Tuesday’s debate, subtly hinting that Obama will hit Mitt Romney on his Bain record. Campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said, “Gov. Romney has been making pitches all of his life, and he knows how to say what people want to hear, whether that was his time at Bain or during the dozens of town halls he did during the primary.” Psaki added that Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, “left him vulnerable on a number of issues.” Senior campaign adviser David Axelrod said Obama is making “adjustments” and that the president will be more aggressive.
