A new CBS News poll revealed President Obama's approval rating has dropped to an all-time low of 46 percent. This is the first time the president's marks have dropped below 50 percent, and although he still has Democrats' support, the approval rating among independents recently fell 10 points—Republican approval is 13 percent. Unlike when George W. Bush was president, the driving force behind Obama's drop is domestic issues. Marks on health care and the handling of the economy are among Obama's lowest categories.
