A Portland man entered a guilty plea for his role in helping people connected to a 2009 terrorist attack in Pakistan that left about 30 people dead and 300 injured, the U.S. Attorney's Office said on Friday. Reaz Qadir Khan, 51, admitted to providing $2,450 to suicide bomber Ali Jaleel before the attack, as well as advice and financial assistance to Jaleel's wives after the incident, according to federal prosecutors. Jaleel and two others carried out the attack at the Pakistan intelligence office in Lahore while al-Qaeda released a video statement from Jaleel after the blast. Khan entered a guilty plea to being an accessory after the fact, which is punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $125,000. In Khan's deal with prosecutors, he will serve 7.5 years in prison, according to USAO spokesperson Gerri Badden.
