Padma Lakshmi, host of the reality show Top Chef, gave birth in New York over the weekend and has named the baby girl Krishna Lakshmi. The child’s paternity is still unknown. The pregnancy was considered “a medical miracle,” according to one of Lakshmi’s reps, because the star has endometriosis, a uterine condition that can make it difficult for a woman to conceive a child. The pregnancy was normal, though; according to Us Weekly, Lakshmi said she hadn’t “really had any cravings. There was about a week and a half when I was really craving a cinnamon doughnut. Then I had the cinnamon doughnut, and it was like, ‘Eh.’ I mean, it was OK, but that was it. And then it was over.”
