After Democrats took a beating at the polls Tuesday, some in the party are calling for a new leader in the House, but current House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi may make another bid for a leadership position. "We just got whupped" said Utah Rep. Jim Matheson, co-chairman of the Blue Dog Coalition of conservative Democrats, which was decimated in the Republican wave on Election Day. Matheson and others want a new face for the party when it becomes the minority in the House of Representatives next year. If not Pelosi, the likely candidate is Rep. Steny Hoyer, the current majority leader.
