A pair of Pennsylvania brothers have been charged with stealing a 20-foot-wide, 50-foot-long steel bridge and selling the parts for scrap. The two allegedly used a blowtorch to hack it into pieces, then sold off the several tons of steel parts. One of the brothers told a recycling company he had permission to cut up the bridge for scrap, and then showed photos he had on his cellphone. The thieves face charges of criminal mischief, theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy; the bridge will cost $100,000 to replace.
