Peyton Manning was intentionally playing with a torn right quad during the Denver Broncos’ loss Sunday in the divisional playoffs and for the preceeding month, ESPN reports. Team doctors knew that he injured himself on Dec. 14, but Manning concealed it from virtually everyone else so he could keep playing in what may be his last NFL season. The Broncos lost the AFC Divisional playoff game to the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, 24-13. Manning was 26-of-46 in passing against the Colts for 211 yards and a touchdown.
