Police said suspected shooter Jason Dalton has admitted to the killings in Kalamazoo, Michigan, over the weekend. Kalamazoo Public Safety Det. Cory Ghiringhelli testified Monday that Dalton told detectives “he took people’s lives.” Dalton, who was working as a registered Uber driver on Saturday, allegedly picked up customers in between a string of shootings that left six people dead. The 45-year-old appeared in court Monday and was charged on 16 counts. When asked if he wanted to say anything, Dalton said “I prefer to remain silent.” A judge denied bail and set the next hearing for March 3.
