The number of Americans who find human cloning and polygamy acceptable is gradually rising, although many of the classic taboos including adultery persist. Only 8 percent of Americans find married men and women having an affair to be morally acceptable, according to a new Gallup survey. Issues like polygamy, suicide, and cloning humans are still stigmatized by most people, but a growing number of younger Americans find them acceptable. Infidelity is the one issue that 90 percent of young people still find morally unacceptable.
