Pope Francis is expected to unveil a new marriage annulment plan for Catholics on Tuesday, according to a Vatican spokesperson. Francis will release two decrees at a news conference in Rome, titled "Mitis Iudex Dominus Iesus" and "Mitis et Misericors Iesus," which translates to "The Gentle Judge, The Lord Jesus" and "The Meek and Merciful Jesus." The pope has previously called for reforming annulments, or the required process for Catholics to nullify a marriage. Catholics are not allowed to take Communion until completing the process and many have complained it can take too much time and money.
