Prince Harry was "terrified" that he would not be able to keep up with his team mates on his south pole trek, and was nervous about letting his side down, it is being reported today.
This is probably a good moment to remind ourselves that on that trip, he grew a beard, and looked smashing with it.Harry, who was filmed for an ITV documentary - Harry's South Pole Heroes - about the Antarctic adventure, which will be broadcast in the UK this Sunday, was recorded before the trip saying, "I don't want to let the side down through fitness or injuries or anything like that. There's a lot of pressure on everybody involved, so I've just got to get it right... It's not just about fitness, it's about knowing exactly what you can and can't do. For me, it's bigger than just these guys. We're trying to raise money but also to raise awareness for the fact that the injuries they've sustained they're going to carry for the rest of their lives."
