Vladimir Putin has reportedly called Elton John and agreed to meet with him after the singer was initially tricked into thinking the Russian leader called him last week. The singer took to Instagram to say the two had spoken, but two Russian jokesters owned up to tricking Elton John. Thursday however, Putin’s spokesman said the leader promised to speak with John. “I know that those phone pranksters fooled you. Please don’t be angry with them,” his spokesman said.
