'Real World' Star Says She Was Raped

Tonya Cooley, a star of MTV's Real World/Road Rules challenges, is suing the network and fellow cast members Evan Starkman and Kenneth Santucci, claiming the two men sexually assaulted her. Cooley claims Starkman and Santucci raped her with a toothbrush while she was passed out, and that cameras were rolling during the incident. She alleges that MTV producers knew about the rape but covered it up and never told her. The lawsuit also claims that producers encouraged male cast members to "inappropriately touch female cast members' bodies, including in intimate areas," but when Cooley and others reported the sexual abuse, MTV did nothing.
