Authorities have identified a suspect after finding the skeletal remains of at least seven bodies buried behind a mall over the last eight years in New Britain, Conn., police said Monday. The suspected serial killer behind the murders is no longer a danger to the public, Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane said. Kane declined to disclose the suspect's name, but multiple law enforcement sources have said the suspect is imprisoned on unrelated charges, NBC reports. Police first discovered partial remains of three missing women in 2007, but New Britain Police Chief James Wardwell said at least four additional bodies have been uncovered over the past two weeks. The bodies have been buried for at least a decade and the state's chief medical examiner is working to identify them.
