More than 2,400 U.S. doctors have been sanctioned for alleged sexual abuse of patients, according to a new report by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The investigation revealed that at least half of those physicians were allowed to continue practicing under license, even after allegations were proven to be true. Many doctors who were convicted and stripped of their medical license were able to easily apply to be reinstated.
