A top investigator on special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is stepping away from the Russia probe, ABC News reported Wednesday. It is unclear why Peter Strzok, who worked on the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and helped interview her as part of that probe, decided to leave. The special counsel is looking into Russian election meddling, and Mueller’s team is now using a federal grand jury. A spokesman for the special counsel declined to comment to ABC News.
