A new report by the Boston Globe Tuesday outs Paul Ryan as a one-time secret stimulus funds seeker. Apparently, according to the Globe, back in 2009 while the Rep. from Wisconsin was badmouthing the federal government American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (better known as the stimulus package) while simultaneously writing letters to Energy Secretary John Chu to get two Wisconsin conservation groups in on millions of dollars worth of grant money. Both of the groups ended up getting the money, with one securing a $20 million grant, thanks to letters Ryan wrote will simultaneously calling the program a "wasteful spending spree."
