Report: Trump Vetting Christie for VP

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is reportedly vetting Chris Christie to be his running mate in the general election. According to CNN, the New Jersey governor has received the necessary paperwork for the vice-presidential vetting procedure. Trump has said he would announce his running mate at the GOP convention in Cleveland next month. Christie, a former rival of Trump’s in the Republican primaries, has since endorsed and advised the real-estate mogul.
