Palestinians fired up to four Qassam rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel on Sunday, The Telegraph reports. One of the rockets reportedly landed near two kindergartens, but there were no casualties or damage reported in any of the strikes. Raising the specter of renewed conflict, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said: "If there is rocket fire against the south of the country, there will be a disproportionate Israeli response to the fire on the citizens of Israel and its security forces." The attacks come amid a fragile cease-fire between the two regions after Israel ended its offensive in Gaza on January 18.
