ABC News has dug up an old video of Mitt Romney from 2002, when he was running for governor of Massachusetts. The aspiring politician boasted the millions he'd collected from government donors. "I am a big believer in getting money where the money is," he said to the New Bedford Industrial Foundation. "The money is in Washington." The video of the meeting was surreptitously recorded by Romney's Democratic opponents at the time. "I want to go after every grant, every project, every department in Washignton to assure that we are taking advantage of economic development opportunities." This evidence doesn't exactly bode well for his "Washington outsider" persona.
