For nearly ten years, the could-be remains of former Russian tsar Nicholas II’s only two children have been stored away in the state archives. DNA tests claim they are the offical heirs, but many have dismissed their authenticity after they were discovered 43 miles away from the rest of the Tsar's family, who were shot by the Bolsheviks and tossed down a mineshaft in 1918 and subsequently burned and buried, in 2007. Now, the Russian government is forming a high-level taskforce to identify the remains and put years of doubt by the Catholic Church to rest.
