Following the start of Passover, the presidential hopeful chided opponents Barack Obama and Mitt Romney for not recognizing Jerusalem as the Israeli capital—even though it is U.S. policy not to do so. Santorum promises that, as president, he would move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, declaring, "A Santorum administration would mean that next year, there will be a Passover Seder at the new U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem—and when Jews say, ‘Next year in Jerusalem,’ that will actually be the case for the U.S. Embassy.”
