Santorum Looks to Michigan

Rick Santorum said he could do “exceptionally well” in the next presidential contest, no matter that it will be in Michigan, where Mitt Romney’s father was governor. Santorum told ABC’s This Week that he will be very aggressive ahead of the primary, which will be held Feb. 28 along with Arizona’s. “We're going to spend a lot of time in Michigan and Arizona,” he said, and that Romney's recent criticism of Santorum shows he’s panicking. “You reach a point where desperate people do desperate things.” Romney narrowly won Saturday’s Maine caucus over Ron Paul. Despite that, Santorum said it’s really a “two-man race” at this point.
