A man serving a 65-year sentence for a school shooting was found dead of an apparent suicide Tuesday night in an Indiana prison. Cody Cousins was only five days into his sentence for killing teaching assistant Andrew Boldt at Purdue University in a classroom full of students. He had said during court proceedings, “I killed Andrew Boldt because I wanted to.” He pleaded guilty to the murder in August. Mental-health experts testified that he suffered from bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder, but was not experiencing symptoms when he killed Boldt on Jan. 21.
