The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to hear a lawsuit from Nebraska and Oklahoma’s state governments over Colorado’s 2014 marijuana legalization. The two states, which border Colorado, allege that the new marijuana law has “increased the flow of marijuana over their borders.” Justices elected not to take the case, after hearing arguments that it was not in the court’s jurisdiction to decide how one state’s laws might be violated by third parties in a different state.
