Joel Wright, a 23-year-old seminary student in Ohio, is facing federal charges after allegedly trying to arrange sex with infants in Mexico. He was arrested at San Diego International Airport by agents from Immigration and Custom Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations. Wright had been communicating with an anonymous person about adopting an infant in Tijuana and one conversation eventually revealed a "desire to engage in illicit sexual conduct with female infants." He is charged with two felony counts of traveling to engage in a sexual act with a minor and trying to illicit sexual conduct in a foreign country.
