Will this summer turn Sharknado into a documentary? Shark experts are predicting a rise in attacks this summer, due to an increasing number of beach-goers, sharks on the coast, and climate change warming the waters earlier in the season. Last year, 27 shark attacks were reported in U.S. waters, with five off the shores of Hawaii. To lower the risk of encountering a shark, experts recommend going into the water in groups and avoiding swimming during dusk and dawn.
