Abu Duaa al-Ansari, the leader of ISIS in Sinai, Egypt, was killed in an airstrike, the Egyptian military announced. It also said an additional 45 militants were killed during the operation. Weaponry and ammunition used by the fighters was also destroyed in the strike. It comes a day after the group released a video threatening Jews in Israel and Palestine. In a Facebook post, Egyptian military spokesman Brig. Gen. Mohammed Samir said officials acted on “accurate intelligence” where the strikes took place, in Al-Arish.
