American Sniper has surpassed The Hunger Games: Mockingjay–Part 1 as the top grossing domestic release of 2014. The Clint Eastwood film has brought in $337.2 million since its Dec. 26 opening. Mockingjay, which came out Nov. 21, grossed $337 million. Although American Sniper was knocked from the box office’s top 10 this weekend, it still made $4.5 million on its 11th weekend in theaters.
